I'm not updating this very much.  See forums such as the unofficial blueridge guitar forum,
acoustic guitar forum, and the like for sterling reviews of the products we carry, especially
Stanford.  Maybe I'll get back to updating, but I'm really busy.

Eastman Guitars

AJ517 Archback: "BEST WISHES TO Y'ALL  i'm thanksgiving for this Eastman that you sold
me.  i put a Shatten, 'under the bridge plate" pickup in and folks are "WOWed".  if you ever
have a similar used/shop guitar (similar style) with a cutaway i'll sell my Mossman and buy it.
the case is quite superior also.  our weather here for a couple of days has been
unseasonably warm and the trees are yeilding such colour.  we're celebrating Thanksgiving
(we do early)and i send my best regards.  hope y'all have that "best" kayak in the water and
you're enjoying that soulfullstuff!   blessings
bobby watson          ps. if you ever get to this part of the world you have a place to stay."

Eastman Mandolins

MD504: "Thank you Steve!!  It is exactly what I was looking for in a oval holed mando.  The
set-up is just what I am used to, and it really makes me happy that I won't have to spend $80
right away to get that done!  Anyway, I just wanted to thank you for helping me through this
process and you have another very satisfied customer.

Have a great day,
Jacob"

"this is just a quick thank you to steve and gianna.... i recently purchased an eastman 615
mandolin from a store in carolina. beautiful instrument but had a string buzz. eastman
offered to send me a new one but i really did not want to do that. the store i dealt with said
they could fix the problem but since this was a new mandolin i was not sure what to do.
i found steve;s number on his web site and called him for advice. he was very helpful
not just once but also on a second call a couple of days later......steve, thanks again for
taking time from your busy day to offer professional assistance to a complete stranger......i
still hear a slight buzz after the repair but overall it sounds and looks fine.
           thanks, ernie"

MD505: "Steve,
I just got my MD-505 from you last week (A style, f hole, #0070).  I  don't know if you
remember, but my wife, Maria Weisenhorn, purchased it for me for a birthday present.  I had
never played a mandolin before, but just had a feeling it was the instrument I was looking for
(I'm a long time guitar player, minored in classical guitar performance in college, play several
instruments).

I must say I have totally been unable to put this instrument down since I've received it.  The
sound is so unique.  I have a couple questions for you.  What all did you do for my
m-voodoo?  Did you replace any stock parts, or was it all a process of "tweaking"?  I almost
wish I had the chance to play it before and after the m-voodoo so I could more fully
appreciate your talent.

Between my old fiddle and my new mando, I'm afraid my guitars are going to collect a little
dust in the coming years!

Thanks
Philip Weisenhorn"
