Gypsy Jazz Guitars
Gypsy Jazz guitars spring from the work of Mario Macaferri, a
classical guitar artist and luthier. In conjunction with Selmer of
Paris, he developed and Selmer produced fine guitars with
many unique features. These were soon picked up by Django
Reinhardt and other gypsy jazz players in the “hot club” scene
of the 1930s. Their dry, intense sound continues to captivate
players and listeners.

bridge the gap between the Selmer tone and elegant power of
modern archtops. Draleon fills this gap with incredible

music, developing flamenco music. Flamenco initially relied on
inexpensive instruments that gave a fast percussive response
and quick delay. Spain is still the heart of flamenco and
